First things first. That cliffhanger was too much, I’m dying to know what happens next ><
Anyways, I absolutely loved the demo! It was only the beginning but everything was just wonderfully done! From the breathtaking GUI to fun dialogues to extremely well written and enjoyable characters!
To play the game as Alison was also a sweet plus. Despite being someone you “control” you can obviously see her drive and endearing personality. And can I mention the dialogue options? Some are just hilarious XD A personal favorite of mine was the National Box day scene with Beckett, and my first choice was to faint c:
There’s so many creative elements, even tiny ones like the fan shaped manu (that was really fun hehe). Oh, and that article writing. I did absolutely not expect that, but it was super unique and fun! I think I failed there a bit though haha ^^;
I also love all the characters. I might have a slight bias toward a certain one, but I’ll leave that be as all of them deserves love~ All of them have a memorable personality, even the supporting ones (even the waiter at the diner, she seem to have a nice sense of humor cx), and lovely designs to complement their personality with. The diversity of the interactions depending on who you talked to was great, and the balance between fun and serious was elegantly executed. I’d say the atmosphere was more on the lighthearted side for this demo, but I can already see it’s going to be a huge ride, especially after that ending o.o There was also a lot of focus on the character’s personalities, and lots of foreshadowing on what kind of person they really are~ And that dictionary? That was genius XD
I have only praises to sing, you guys did a wonderful job and I can’t wait to see more! ^u^)/
I loved the demo, so excited for more! The visuals are fantastic and it all works so smoothly I’m just in love with the aesthetics!
The characters are great too, I can’t help but obsess over Beckett :’) if there’s anything I’m speculating about right now though, it’s that I’m about 70% sure that Zax is going to turn out to be a psycho. I’ve probably played the demo far too many times and have read into every detail too much, but with his route being the last to be released, his ‘almost disconcerting’ influence on the schoolkids, Alison’s inner dialogue about the three people she talked to during the Lunar Waltz (this is the part I’m basing pretty much all my predictions on honestly; the Cat is claimed to be a sociopath on the Kickstarter page for this game, not necessarily a psychopath), her comment to him on how he’s an easy person to talk to, it all seems like foreshadowing in my head. All the comments that Alison’s narrator-self makes on how he’s not who he seems to be appears to bear greater weight to me than her comments on everyone else.
With that said, the humour in this game matches mine perfectly and the story is super intriguing too – that was a really mean cliffhanger you left us all with :’) but I’m looking forward to it’s development! I can’t wait ^^
